Community Readiness

The premiere program of the NMBSA is

the Community Readiness Program

Working in partnership with local communities, the Program aims to assist municipalities or designated areas throughout the state to position themselves to attract bioscience businesses.

Site Selection

The Community Readiness program helps out-of-state and in-state companies easily identify locations in terms of infrastructure and utilities, regulatory framework, and workforce and training to support bioscience ventures.

Currently, five communities have been identified for the program:  Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Las Cruces, Santa Fe and Clovis.
