The premiere program of the NMBSA is
the Community Readiness Program
Working in partnership with local communities, the Program aims to assist municipalities or designated areas throughout the state to position themselves to attract bioscience businesses.
The Community Readiness program helps out-of-state and in-state companies easily identify locations in terms of infrastructure and utilities, regulatory framework, and workforce and training to support bioscience ventures.
Currently, five communities have been identified for the program: Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Las Cruces, Santa Fe and Clovis.
Interested entrepreneurs or NM based government officials are welcome to contact NM Bioscience Authority staff for further assistance.

Disclaimer: The Designation of sites/zones in the NMBSA Community Readiness Program were identified and rated in cooperation with the municipality and/or county that the sites exist. The rating of bronze, silver, gold and platinum was achieved based upon the best “public” information available at the time the Community Ready sites/zones were rated. Each potential developer/buyer/user should perform their own due diligence in order to verify, confirm and validate the information regarding a Community Ready site/zone before proceeding with the development/purchase or lease of real property and or the improvements contained on the designated Community Ready site/zone.
