UNM North Campus

This zone district, on North University of New Mexico (UNM) Campus, has been silver certified which means that local government has identified ‘shovel ready’
site(s) available for development. In addition, local government has expedited permitting processes that can reduce the risks and costs associated with construction delays which is traditionally a gold certification criteria.

The land is owned by UNM and the State and does not have to follow COA zoning. However, the underlying zoning is as follows: MX-H district, light manufacturing is accessory, office, research and development uses are permissive. In the NR-C district, light manufacturing, office, research and development uses are permissive.
