Santa Fe Business Incubator Location: Santa Fe
Remote Work Available: Hybrid
The Santa Fe Business Incubator (SFBI) is a 30,000 square foot facility in Santa Fe, NM that supports entrepreneurship and innovation across New Mexico’s growing bioscience sector. We provide emerging bioscience companies with the resources, mentorship, and networks they need to scale their ideas into sustainable businesses. Our interns will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of science and business, working alongside founders and industry leaders in a collaborative environment.
Bioscience Intern
Position Overview
As a Bioscience Intern at the Santa Fe Business Incubator, you will be paired with a Business Intern to explore innovation, develop business models, and pitch ideas to investors. You will work 20 hours per week over nine weeks (180 hours total for the summer semester) and participate in one hour of workshops per week outside of your internship hours.
This can be a hybrid internship – some hours and activities must be completed in person, but there can be flexibility with remote work if intern is not located in Santa Fe.
Working With SFBI Resident Companies

- Commercialization support: Helping translate complex science into clear, compelling narratives for investors, customers, or grant reviewers
- Innovation brainstorming: Participating in working sessions with company teams to identify gaps, opportunities, or new product directions
- Mentorship and networking: Building relationships with bioscience founders, scientists, and industry professionals within the SFBI community
